here are some pics from the Urban Hotel Shooting, for Heirloom bags 2011 Fall/Winter collection. I shot this set with a 7D and a 16-35 canon lens. Most of the shots were unplanned because of timing and budget. I had extra help from Chen who was there to manage the lights for me.

Just found out I had two OneShow 2011 merits for work done for Ogilvy Shanghai for the Vans campaign and Lee Jeans.

Thought the work we did was just ok. I believe the video case studies was what sold it for us, credits to Nat for doing a good Job on the videos.

I was invited to shoot the summer 2011 collection for Heirloom bags. Heirloom is a new company(since 2008) based out of Shanghai. The shoot was done in Shanghai at a location near suzhou creek and the TBWA office’s rooftop.

A short promotion clip by VANS, featuring Cyres a VANS sponsored skater from Shenzhen talking about the heritage of VANS. The song was written by the Beijing based band reflector.

I was commissioned by VANS to create and produce 4 clips  around its brand spirit “OFF THE WALL”. They wanted kids in China to  understand its true meaning and heritage. We created 2 videos based  around VANS sponsored skaters, P.Dan and Cryes, they talked about the  heritage and history of “OFF THE WALL” from a skaters point of view .  Chinese actors LiChen and LiYuan promoted the other 2 clips which was  about what “OFF THE WALL” meant to them and how their life embodied the  “OFF THE WALL” spirit. They had starred in the VANS sponsored film  called “Fendou – 奋斗电影”.
