Toyota has always been at the forefront of automotive innovation, but as consumer behavior shifted toward digital-first experiences, the challenge was clear—how do we evolve Toyota’s digital ecosystem to create a more seamless, personalized, and future-forward car-buying experience?
As the Executive Creative Director, I led the end-to-end digital transformation of Toyota, overseeing the strategy, design, and execution of Toyota’s digital platforms, interactive tools, and connected experiences. This was more than just being present on different surfaces; it was about rethinking the role of digital in the consumer journey, bridging e-commerce, connectivity, and personalized engagement across devices.

Reimagining Toyota.com → With over 8 million unique visitors a month, Toyota.com serves as the company’s primary digital showroom. I led the overhaul of the platform, ensuring it wasn’t just a place to browse cars but an intelligent, responsive, and data-driven ecosystem that helps users find, compare, and customize their ideal Toyota vehicle.

Connected Car Experiences → Understanding that digital extends beyond the screen, we designed a suite of smart car integrations for wearables and mobile devices, enabling remote start, vehicle status monitoring, and even location tracking—bringing Toyota’s promise of innovation directly into users’ daily lives.

AI & Personalization → Leveraging AI-driven recommendations, we transformed Toyota’s digital presence from a static experience into a personalized, user-first journey, offering tailored car suggestions, interactive build-and-price tools, and real-time driving insights.

Guest Driver & Vehicle Status Features → Expanding Toyota’s mobile app capabilities, we introduced features like Guest Driver Mode, allowing owners to set driving limits for valet services, family members, or rental use, and real-time vehicle diagnostics, giving drivers complete transparency into their car’s health.

Seamless E-Commerce & Lead Generation → The digital transformation wasn’t just about user experience—it was about driving business impact. By optimizing the build-and-price tool, streamlining lead generation, and integrating dealer inventory, we helped move Toyota closer to a true end-to-end online purchasing model.
